Drivers Hours, Working Time and Tachograph Rules are three key pieces of legislation that ALL Transport Managers and Drivers must fully understand. Each year organisations are fined significant sums and potentially risk losing their Operator Licence because of non-compliance and for many lack of knowledge and understanding is not a valid excuse when challenged by VOSA or a Traffic Commissioner. Managers need to be fully aware of their legal obligations and the consequences of what could happen if they don't comply. This course is designed to provide a full awareness of how best to apply the legislation to minimize disruption to your business and with worked examples, managers should be able to organize drivers more efficiently to avoid unnecessary cost implications (eg Overtime working and Rest implications) |
