Our digital tachograph training course is designed to provide all the theory knowledge and a significant amount of hands on exposure in actually using the simulator. There will be practice in actually delivering parts of the training and the instructor will provide feedback and a report on the delegates performance.

¨ There are three Digital Tachograph manufacturers ¨ The term Vehicle Unit (VU) is the actual name used to refer to the Tachograph unit. ¨ It is a legal requirement to have spare type approved print rolls in the cab ¨ Other work away from the vehicle should be recorded as a manual entry ¨ For multi-drop operations or similar stop-start situations the digital tacho could increase your driving time significantly ¨ You mustn't rely on the units Break alarm as a warning ¨ There is a European network that can check drivers digital smartcards
